Smartdeck is a next generation decking material for boats. It has been developed for demanding marine conditions and for serial production, where safety, comfort and ease of installation are essential.

Smartdeck is made from lightweight closed cell foam material that is durable, maintenance free and comfortable underfoot. The surface provides excellent grip even when wet and maintains its properties under heavy use and changing weather conditions.

Smartdeck, developed by Brand ID, was awarded first place in the decking material test conducted by Europe’s largest boating magazine, the German YACHT publication. In the test, Smartdeck stood out particularly for its safety, grip and comfort.

In the YACHT magazine comparison, Smartdeck provided grip up to a 37 degree incline, making it one of the safest decking solutions on the market.

Smartdeck allows extensive customisation according to customer requirements. Surface patterns and shapes can be fully adapted to the vessel’s design, from traditional teak looks to modern and innovative patterns.

The material is available in approximately twenty colour options and can be cut to any shape or size. Safety and grip never limit visual design.

Fast and easy installation

Smartdeck is supplied with a ready to use adhesive backing, making installation quick and cost efficient. The material is suitable for both new boats and finished structures.

Sheets are also available with a marine grade self adhesive 3M backing that allows easy remove and reposition installation.

Smartdeck is made from closed cell foam with a brushed surface that provides excellent grip, repels water and is easy to clean. The material is fully waterproof, UV resistant and designed for long term use in marine environments.
