Smartdeck™ Heat is a heated decking solution that brings a new level of comfort to boating and sailing. It combines the proven safety and design of Smartdeck decking with integrated heating features that enhance comfort in cool and changing weather conditions.

Smartdeck™ Heat has been developed for boat manufacturers and is designed to be seamlessly integrated into the vessel’s structures without compromising appearance or usability.

Proven performance on Dragonfly 36 trimaran

Smartdeck™ Heat was first introduced on the Dragonfly 36 Performance Cruiser trimaran. Dragonfly is known for its innovative design, performance and high level of craftsmanship, making it a natural platform for the first full scale implementation of Smartdeck™ Heat.

The heated decking solution was integrated into the cockpit seating, improving comfort especially in cooler conditions and during long sailing sessions. The solution blends seamlessly with Dragonfly’s design language and supports the vessel’s premium character.

Easy to use and discreetly integrated

Smartdeck™ Heat offers two heating settings, Low and High, allowing the temperature to be adjusted based on conditions and user preference. The heating system is discreetly integrated into the Smartdeck decking and does not affect surface appearance or grip properties.

From prototype to production ready solution

Smartdeck™ Heat was first presented as a sample at Metstrade in November 2024. The fully integrated and production ready solution was introduced to the public at Boot Düsseldorf 2025 in January.

Strong interest from professionals and the feedback received confirmed the solution’s performance and potential as part of modern boat design.
